This is the only release from Auckland Lo-fi Pop band Gaunt Pudding. Recorded on a four track cassette tape recorder in their practice room. They were part of the Auckland D.I.Y lo-fi Pop scene of the mid 1990s. Based around Thursday nights at the Kings Arms, see poster below. It is one of King Worldwide Records etched records.

Gaunt Pudding and Cane Slide were the first 'Alternative' bands playing all original material to play the Kings Arms. Up until then mainly Country or cover bands played there. A Thursday night was booked as an experiment. Here is the poster from the gig, dated 07/12/1995. It featured a map as most people didn't know where the King's Arms were.
