Auckland band Lip Service included Dave Marshall, a former member of Waves and Peter ‘Rooda’ Warren and Rob ‘Revox’ Guy future members of DD Smash. Formed in 1978 they released one single, one album and appeared on a Auckland music compilation. By 1981 Rob Guy had left and they had changed their name to Neons. Releasing another single on Reaction Records under that name before disbanded in 1981.

Recorded off of the 7" vinyl single
These guys supported the cure in chch I think in 1980. They had a full album out which was a big deal for an nz band. They were very new wave.
