This is Progressive Rock band Ragnarok's first single. Although they were formed in Auckland in 1974 three of their members, Mark and Andre Jayet and Ramon York originally came from Christchurch. Ragnarok built up at following playing Radio Hauraki's Buck A Head concerts and with a residency at Granny's. They also toured New Zealand extensively. All the members of the band sang. Lead Vocalist Lea Maalfrid was also a very talented songwriter. She wrote both sides of this single. Lea Maalfrid left the band at the end of 1975 after the release of their first album. The rest of the band released a second album and carried on gigging until 1977.
