This is Hayden Wood's third New Zealand released single. He was born Anthony Jones, but after moving to Sydney Australia in the mid 1960's he used the stage name Tony Summers. His band Tony Summers & The Echoes recorded for Spin Records and supported The Rolling Stones on their Australian tour in early 1966. By 1968 he was in Britain, signed to Nems Records and known as Hayden Wood. He was the first person to cover an Elton John / Bernie Taupin song (his first single Sixty Years On). Greatest Discovery the B-Side of It's Alright is also an Elton John/Bernie Taupin song. This single was recorded on a trip back to New Zealand in 1970.
