This is Wellington band Rockinghorse's fifth single. Made up of former members of The Fourmyula, Quincey Conserve, Rebirth and Taylor. They were originally EMI Record's house band. Used by producer Alan Galbraith to provide the backing tracks to nearly all its locally recorded releases in 1974. Rockinghorse also gigged tirelessly. Playing the brewery circuit up and down the country until they were banned by Lion Breweries after a disagreement with the management of the Lion Tavern in Wellington in late 1975. A detailed history of the band can be found at Audio Culture.co.nz.
