Hi Paul Campbell here...KD3 was a sotra arty name i came up with about friends i knew at the time..the people were all from Palmerston North and Ranfurly Studios was in Ranfurly Street in Palmerston north.... actually it was my Bedroom :)
ReplyDeleteHi Paul, thanks for the comment. Good to hear it was another great New Zealand single recorded in a bedroom. I credited you as a Auckland band would you like me to change that to Palmerston North? You were listed as an Auckland band in John K. Smith's book Just For The Record, that's were I got it from.
DeleteHI thanks for the reply...yeah although we spent some time in Auckland that single was done in Palmy and we all came from Palmy so it would be more accurate to credit Palmerston North....i am so happy to see its found its tiny place in NZ music history..it was quite a mission to create and publish your own single in those days
DeleteHi Paul, your single definitely has its place in NZ music history. Just so you know, it is the most downloaded track of the last six months. It's a bit of a hit.
