This is the only release from Auckland Pop band You're A Movie. It was produced by Hello Sailor member Harry Lyon. It features ex-Hip Singles bassist Murray Couling who when on to form Flying Nun band Chainsaw Masochist.

What a find. I had this and was a good friend of the band. Terrible song. So dated and pretty awful at the time. But the band was great when they weren't trying to be pop. Terrific live. You're a Movie started life as the Nuns, in the South Island, possibly working out of Christchurch in Couling's immediate post-Hip Singles phase. Then they moved to Palmerston North and played regularly at the Albert and the Lion Tavern as Karate Nuns with a mix of originals and covers. Circa 83-84. Then it was a move to Auckland later in 1984 and an unsuccessful attempt to launch on the back of this. Thanks for this! Great nostalgia for me.
