World Gone Wild - Shy Shy Jenny
1990



This is Auckland Pop duo World Gone Wild's first single. They release four singles and a CD album. Their second single Stand Back was a Top Ten hit. After they broke up Stanley Manthyng co-wrote songs for Double J and Twice the T and released the single Nek Minnit with Levi Hawken. Michael Caulfield went on to form Goth band Winterland.

Flight X-7 - Don't Get Too Close
1980


This is Pop band Flight X-7's second and final single. Originally from Hamilton, before becoming Auckland based. They supported XTC in Auckland in 1980. As well as  playing the 1980 Nambassa and the 1981 and 1982 Sweetwaters Music Festivals. After the band broke up drummer Tim Powles and bassist Warwick Keay joined The Knobz. Singer Jeff Clarkson became a successful New Age Artist. Recording many albums of ambient meditational Soundscapes.

Rockinghorse - Oh! Marimba Go!
1975


This is Wellington band Rockinghorse's fifth single. Made up of former members of The Fourmyula, Quincey Conserve, Rebirth and Taylor. They were originally EMI Record's house band. Used by producer Alan Galbraith to provide the backing tracks to nearly all its locally recorded releases in 1974. Rockinghorse also gigged tirelessly. Playing the brewery circuit up and down the country until they were banned by Lion Breweries after a disagreement with the management of the Lion Tavern in Wellington in late 1975.
