The Hauraki Good Guys - Please Daddy Don't Get Drunk This Christmas
1975



'Tis the season. Here is a Christmas song from 1975 by the The Hauraki Good Guys. Who were the Radio Hauraki DJs backed by Auckland Pop band Salty Dogg. Radio Hauraki started as a pirate station on board the Tiri.  Which is the name of Santa's sleigh on the cover. All New Zealand radio stations were AM in 1975 so the 1480 was their AM frequency.

Ken Farr - John Kelly The Boy From Killan
1962


Sorry I know next to nothing about Ken Farr and this recording. Only that Peter Posa played on it and it was released in 1962 on Zodiac records. This was his only release.

Rhythm Cage - The Phone Is Ringing
1989



From 1989 this is the second single by Auckland band Rhythm Cage. They released a total of three singles. Lead Singer/Guitarist David Parker went on to release two singles as the Parker Project. Which like all the Rhythm Cage's singles where released by Pagan Records. David Parker currently plays in The Nukes.
