The Challenge - Gone, Gone, Gone
1969

The other side is blank

This is the third release from Auckland Pop band The Challenge. Their first single Honey Do, reached number 4 in the New Zealand Hit Parade. The second, La Dee Doo Down Down peaked at 14. Gone, Gone, Gone failed to chart. They released one more single, The Crunch before Ricky Ball  left to form Ticket. The band broke up shortly thereafter. Ricky Ball later played drums in Hello Sailor.

The Furys - Rare Record EP
1981

The Furys were fronted by Guitarist Dave McLean who had cut his teeth playing British R'n'B/Pub Rock to a Punk audience with Johnny and The Hookers. McLean left The Hookers in 1979, due to a dispute over his on stage drinking, and formed The Furys. This 1981 EP was their only release.
